About Christopher McKenzie
As a child I received my love of art from my mother who I watched write poetry, paint with pastels and draw with pencils and charcoal. I followed her by painting with Acrylics and drawing some myself as I went through my teenage years, and I also had a couple of inspiring art teachers in middle school. As an adult I was able to afford a camera and I transitioned to photography. I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture time with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously. Though most of my work comes from close to home I have also captured quite a few images in other parts of the US from my travels. Thanks. I liked the shadows I was seeing but I could not get in any closer...it is a private garage and gated. I could have got in there, but I am sure that would have attracted security guards & I didn't need that. So, this was the best view I could get.
