As a child I received my love of art from my mother who I watched write poetry, paint with pastels and draw with pencils and charcoal. I followed her by painting with Acrylics and drawing some myself as I went through my teenage years, and I also had a couple of inspiring art teachers in middle school. As an adult I was able to afford a camera and I transitioned to photography. I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture time with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously. Though most of my work comes from close to home I have also captured quite a few images in other parts of the US from my travels. Thanks. It is not a particularly easy capture. And...I know some day the roof will collapse and for me they lose much of the interest when that happens.

Thank you, Mesa. I have visited the location before...but obtaining an image I was satisfied with was elusive...as the property is fenced and I didn't want to trespass...so shots have to be taken from a distance.
