As a child I received my love of art from my mother who I watched write poetry, paint with pastels and draw with pencils and charcoal. I followed her by painting with Acrylics and drawing some myself as I went through my teenage years, and I also had a couple of inspiring art teachers in middle school. As an adult I was able to afford a camera and I transitioned to photography. I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture time with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously. Thanks, Vic. I am surprised (even in the middle of Kansas) how difficult it is to get a clear night with no high clouds, no moon, and no man-made light to interfere with these shots. I have tried several times since with little luck.
