Artist's Description
My sister has been gone for a few years now and I have recently opened up some of her old sketch books that are in my possession. This is a composite image of some sketches she made back in July of 1996. I had never seen this style of work by her and I found it very interesting. It seemed to me that it was not doing any good if nobody else could see them, so here they are.
My sister had the most illegible handwriting in the world, but she was gifted at various methods of art. I have included the horse names she provided on the back of the pages, but I also have made a copy without the names.

About Christopher McKenzie
As a child I received my love of art from my mother who I watched write poetry, paint with pastels and draw with pencils and charcoal. I followed her by painting with Acrylics and drawing some myself as I went through my teenage years, and I also had a couple of inspiring art teachers in middle school. As an adult I was able to afford a camera and I transitioned to photography. I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture time with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously.
