One of my trips up to the far side of the Golden Gate Bridge on a cold night my journey paid off by giving me a clear view of San Francisco directly behind the majestic structure.
Image captured up near Battery Mendell which overlooks the Golden Gate Straight where the cold waters of the bay meet with the open Pacific Ocean.
As a child I received my love of art from my mother who I watched write poetry, paint with pastels and draw with pencils and charcoal. I followed her by painting with Acrylics and drawing some myself as I went through my teenage years, and I also had a couple of inspiring art teachers in middle school. As an adult I was able to afford a camera and I transitioned to photography. I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture time with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously.
