Artist's Description

This is a 2005 Ford GT captured at the "Art of the Car Concours" at the Kansas City Art Institute in 2016.
Capable of speeds just over 200 mph, power comes from a supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 with a six-speed gearbox, producing 550 brake horsepower and makes the car capable of sprints to 60-mph in well under four seconds. This supercar listed for around $150,00 when new.

As a child I received my love of art from my mother who I watched write poetry, paint with pastels and draw with pencils and charcoal. I followed her by painting with Acrylics and drawing some myself as I went through my teenage years, and I also had a couple of inspiring art teachers in middle school. As an adult I was able to afford a camera and I transitioned to photography. I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture time with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously. Though most of my work comes from close to home I have also captured quite a few images in other parts of the US from my travels.
