As any parent knows you don't throw away your child's first pieces of art. You put them in a drawer and display a few of them as the child grows older. My epiphany came to me when I realized my early experimental dab-lings with AI are exactly the same thing. I gave the AI child a drawing board. I then asked the AI child to draw me a picture but when I got the result I was often disappointed and I threw the image into the trash when the AI was not watching. I now understand my misstep.
