I love this photo!

Thanks again, Paul. Too bad it has since started to collapse.

I love old barns. What stories this old barn could tell us. Love the red roof and the blue sky! Liked/Favorited!

Yes, they are a very useful tool. Thanks, Cat.

what a wonderful old barn! l/f/t

I agree. I was able to spot it from the highway now that the leaves are off the surrounding trees.

Artist's Description

An old barn in Kansas that at one time must have been quite active.
Update Spring 2023: On my last site visit a few months ago it was clear that the end was near. The barn had began to fall apart from age and neglect. Now as I stand here the barn and trees have been razed with nary a trace it ever existed.
I am thankful that I was able to capture this image before the barn disappeared forever.

ISO 400, 1/250 sec, f11, 24mm.

As an adult I was able to afford a camera and I transitioned to photography. I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture time with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously. Though most of my work comes from close to home I have also captured quite a few images in other parts of the US from my travels. There are artists, and then there are folks who have a keen eye for art and are able to...
