Description
The "Kansas Tornado" is a drag racing car that was build back in 1957 in Great Bend, Kansas. It is a 1927 Ford Model-T body on a 1930 Ford Model-A frame, and runs a flat-head V8 engine.
Currently owned (and at times raced) by a friend of mine (behind the wheel) and this shot of the car was actually snapped in Southeast Missouri at the 2015 HAMB Drags. To me, however, with the covered wheels and amputated windshield this car looks as though it would be more at home on a dry lake or at Bonneville geared to take on land speed record runs.
So....this is my interpretation of what the "Tornado" would be doing if it were up to me.
