Description
To the casual observer this seems to be just a rusty old hot rodded 1931 Ford...but the keen eye will notice the new frame rails on the undercarriage, which is a sure indication that this old Ford has been gone through mechanically and only appears to be decrepit. And, those racing slicks are on there for a reason. Relatively low weight and surely high output from the V8 means this old girl moves very quickly.
This 5 Window Coupe was captured at the H.A.M.B Drags in Southeast Missouri in 2015.

A great 2nd place in the Relics and Rods Contest. Love the backdrop, colours and the low angle that give real impact. Wendy
Christopher McKenzie replied:
Thank you, Wendy! It is easy to fall into a trap of 'same angle' shots with cars over and over again...so I was just trying to isolate the subject.

haha..this is awesome
Christopher McKenzie replied:
Thanks, Kumar. I wanted this one to be different. It is not often you get to see these old gems getting thrashed down the quarter mile and I wanted to capture some of that energy.
