Artist's Description
A rural Kansas road that runs past on old barn near the Flint Hills.
In the fall of 2022 I found the tree has since died and is falling apart, and the barn has half collapsed in on itself.
Update Spring 2023: On my last site visit a few months ago it was clear that the end was near. The tree had apparently died and at the same time the barn had began to fall apart from age and neglect. There are artists, and then there are folks who have a keen eye for art and are able to...

Paul, love this composition, well balanced and good leading lines. Great job!
Christopher McKenzie replied:
Thank you, sir. Probably one of my better results from years of 'learning to see' and enforcement of compositional balance.

Christopher McKenzie replied:
Thanks, Paul. I recently noticed the tree has since died and it falling apart, and the barn has half collapsed too.
