Description
A 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am captured at the Goodguys Car Show in Des Moines in July of 2014. Although this one has aftermarket wheels the rest of it appears to be in its stock configuration.
This was the debut year for the Trans Am, and in 69 only 689 of these hard-top beauties were made. (And there were also there were only 8 convertibles made!)
In my opinion the 69 TA is one of the best looking cars General Motors ever created.
The sunset and smoke are from northwest Missouri in 2015.
ISO 800, 1/800 sec, f16, 35mm.

Zoom! I see The Umbrella Man may be driving this beauty! Looks like a car he'd cruise around in! Fav'd for sure, Chris!

Actually I think this is too much power for him. I picture him driving like a Morris Minor. Something with less than 50HP.
