Description
Nature reclaiming an old VW Beetle in the middle of Missouri.
Update October 2022: The wooded property that held dozens of dilapidated VW's has apparently been sold. All of the trees have been uprooted and the cars have been moved out to an adjacent field. It seems my days of catching glimpses of the old German vehicles poking into the open are over from this place.

I remember as a kid my Mom's friend down the block had one with the split window in the back. She would take her 2 sons my Mom my brother and sister in this car to a Hamburger place called Fishers Hamburgers in Los Angeles. This brings back great memories! My dad had one when I was real little. I remember one time when he andoes my mom put their two friends in the back seat and my sister and I rode in the parcel shelf next to the rear window glass.
