I know this looks like Digital Art manufactured on the computer, but this is actually my first attempt at creating an image ENTIRELY from a composite of photographs of light emitting from the elements of a small, color changing fiber optic lamp while I fanned air across the elements so that they moved about.
(9 separate photos to be exact).
As a child I received my love of art from my mother who I watched write poetry, paint with pastels and draw with pencils and charcoal. I followed her by painting with Acrylics and drawing some myself as I went through my teenage years, and I also had a couple of inspiring art teachers in middle school. As an adult I was able to afford a camera and I transitioned to photography. I am based in the Midwest, in a suburb of Kansas City, and although I capture time with my camera primarily as a hobby I take it very seriously. Though most of my work comes from close to home I have also captured quite a few images in other parts of the US from my travels.
